ART | The desert took my home

Deep in the Namib desert in Namibia, a village called Kolmanskop was once a livingly place to be. Due to the diamond mine nearby, the wealth in this town was flourishing. But when the mine got empty, the village got deserted and sand took it's natural place back. Nowadays, this absurd and romantic image got captured by the amazing photographer Álvaro Sánchez-Montañés. See more utterly amazing pictures here.
